Welcome message from the President of ECR Cyprus

Dear Partners,

ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) Cyprus, is a voluntary organization created with the aim of bringing together all companies involved in the Cyprus food and related products market, to achieve the highest level of quality at competitive prices. In order to achieve this, we need to bring together Retailers, Suppliers and the Industry, to cooperate by adopting common best practices that aim in reducing costs and improve the level of service to the consumers.

We aim to achieve this by:

• Creating specialized Work Groups aimed at comprehensively solving problems, such as the pandemic, but also to exploit any opportunities that might arise
• Issuing and publishing best practice guides
• Conducting studies, conferences, specialized seminars and workshops
• Participating in the ECR Community meetings and initiatives, informing our members for the current developments

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, ECR Cyprus’s contribution is deemed to be an absolute necessity since its members are invited to cooperate promptly and effectively to address the many and changing problems and challenges that arise. By joining the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), we have opened a direct communication channel with the state, allowing us to submit our views and suggestions before any decisions are taken. 

As ECR Cyprus, we invite all businesses to join ECR Cyprus to achieve a good and seamless cooperation between suppliers and retailers to achieve a smooth operation of the supply chain, and thus better service to consumers.
